Grades 9-12
Drama 1
This Course introduces all aspects of theatre including acting, movement, voice, history, playwriting, tech/design, and musical theatre. This is a performance and project based class to help grow each student's skills. Students will have the opportunity to attend 1 or more community productions.
Grades 10-12
Int/Adv Drama
This course will expand on the knowledge and skills learned in Drama 1 including acting, movement, voice, history, playwriting, tech/design, and musical theatre. This is a performance and project based class to help grow each student's skills. Students will have the opportunity to attend 1 or more community productions.
Grades 9-12
Tech Theatre and Design
This class explores aspects of Theatre Technology and Design. Students will learn the process from pre-production through post-production exploring areas such as Scenic, Costume, Sound, and Lights. The goal of this class is to introduce students to and build on technical skills that can be used in theatre and live performance, as well as grow their creative skills in areas of design. These skills will be demonstrated through practical use in school productions and events.
